After watching Charlotte Gray I realised how much I really do love Cate Blanchett and how much I missed helping out on Cate Blanchett Fan. So Gertie had kindly bought me a new domain (same as the old one that expired but .com) and transferred the files.

I revamped most of the site before the damn domain expired so I think I’ll just continue that then open it. *is excited* Only two more exams and then I can start work on it. Keira, James and Natalie P will also be getting some well deserved attention.

The Tudors will be over in 4 weeks and I will be lost and slightly depressed without it. I’m slightly in love with Natalie Dormer / my site at the moment and terrified that she isn’t going to get another job. Seriously filming finished aggges ago, Natalie get your arse into gear and get cast in something… please!

Its official, my friend and I are going to London on the 17th May till the 20th! I’m so excited it will be amazing, its been so long since I last went. I can’t wait to see everything again. Pictures will be plentiful when I get back :p

I shall also be visiting the Tower on the 19th, the exact day Anne Boleyn was executed, over 450 years ago! I wonder if they will let off the cannons or something in remembrance? She was Queen of England, after all.

I think I may get lost though, our hotel is by Hyde Park so we have to get to the other side of London to find the tower, the tube maps look totally frightening too. If i can go to New York and survive the Tube, im sure i can handle London!

Thanks for all the comments about Bess guys! I’ve moaned at my mum for the past few days and now I’m allowed to keep her! hehe I knew she’d cave if i carried on. Bess, looks to be doing fine anyway apart from the fact that she’s not growing much she’s great. I’d prefer her to stay tiny anyway :]

Nothing else to report really. I’ve had 3 weeks off from uni and I’ve done… nothing, seriously, but life starts again on Monday :[

Wow, today has been THE longest day ever. Firstly i got up at 3.30am because my stupid headache wouldn’t let me sleep, and I was being paranoid. My mum and step-dad have gone on holiday for two weeks so I’m home alone and my ears where playing tricks on me. I was convinced someone was trying to get in the house… silly laura.

Then I had to go out and run some errands and do some shopping and with it being Easter weekend everywhere was packed! I had to wait for ages in a queue for petrol.. i wasn’t impressed. When I finally got home I found that my little 5 week old puppy (Bess) wasn’t very well. She was having some bowel problems.. ew, so I spent the rest of the day at the vets, who charged me £40.93 for a shit load of anti-biotics and tablets for my girl. Ready for the worst bit? They found she had a heart murmur! Now this could be nothing, it could heal on its on and she could be fine OR she could die early. Which would break my heart, I shouldn’t be but I’m so attached to her. She’s this gorgeous white ball of fluff and its hard not to love her Stay strong Bess, mummy loves you <3

 Oh god…this show makes me so happy wtf am I going to do when it ends / anne’s dead?

For people in the UK: Anyone been watching ‘The Palace’ on ITV? I’m getting slightly addicted to it, i love the way that they claim it’s not based on our royal family when it sooo evidently IS haha

Harry is in Afgan! Wow they kept that a secret… but now thanks to some media its out and now EVERYONE knows, thanks for putting him and the rest of our boys in danger guys! Good one.

Early this morning, around 1am there was an earthquake!! In ENGLAND! I thought I was dreaming haha everything was shaking but me, being the lazy bum I am turned over and went back to sleep! Don’t know how long it lasted, but it couldn’t have been that long because by the time I’d successfully opened my eyes it had stopped. I was quite amazed watching the news, thankfully no-one was hurt.

Two more weeks of Uni then I am off for 3 weeks! Thank goodness because I am already sick and tired of this semester. The two essays I have to write before I finish for easter are killing me. They are soooo boring *sigh*

Sooo all the horrid revision sessions  I was doing a few months back for my exams paid off. I PASSED haha I still cannot believe it. I was so pissed when I woke up this morning and when everyone had already got their results bragging about their passes I  could have punched someone. I was sure that I had failed, especially Greek Myth. BUT turns out that I actually passed all four of my exams, including Greek! LOL *claps self* Now I’m just a little bit happy!

Thats all… just wanted to share my joy. Now I’m going back to saving pics of the gorgeous Natalie Portman at the Berlinale Festivale and the premiere of TOBG.

Gosh, so far this week (bearing in mind its only Wednesday) it has been like having a full time job working on all my fan-sites. Updating has been insanse, with the BAFTA’s and other events I’ve been continually saving pictures for both James McAvoy Fan and Keira Knightley Fan. I have loved every minute of it though, both are fantastic actors and are generally nice people. I know some people have issues over Keira’s acting, but I don’t think anyone could question her personality. She is so grounded and real despite the amount of fame she has accumulated. She’s ace and Britain loves her.

Things have also been crazy at Adoring Natalie Portman, Sarika thank god you are with me on this one because I couldn’t handle them all on my own hehe Thankfully Cate has gone quiet this week and well sadly Natalie Dormer hardly ever comes out of hiding. Despite my qualms over TOBG I am loving all the promotion for it. Scarlett and Natalie are just too cute together and both looked amazing on the Today Show hehe I get the feeling these girls have stolen most of the lime light from Eric Bana but I’m glad they have.

Is anyone else put off The Other Boleyn Girl by this review. I certainly am! I was re-reading the book in anticipation of seeing the film, but I read that review this morning and wondered if it was better to just stick with the book and forget the film!

Much of the vivid detail of Philippa Gregory’s best-selling novel “The Other Boleyn Girl” is gone, or arbitrarily compressed-—for dramatic purposes and/or brevity of running time.

Then WTF was the point in making the film? I do understand that some parts will have to be cut short and missed but when things like this are just MADE UP, it annoys me.

The King shows patience and understanding–up to a point, at which he can no longer suppress his desire and in a burst of anger and passion, he invades her room and rapes her.

*screams* If I do end up going to see this, I will be leaving before that happens. My memory is dusty and I haven’t yet reached that part in the book again yet but didn’t Anne give in to Henry at Calais? Seriously, why make that up, yes Henry was a bastard but If he’d waited 7 years or however long it was, why end it in that way. The story of Anne and Henry is tragic enough, obviously the writers have tried to add more because as they say tragedy sells but that is just over the top and unbelievable.

I think I’ll stick to Natalie Dormer and The Tudors for my fix, obviously who ever made TOBG didn’t know what the hell they were doing.  Anyway to vent my anger I made some Tudor and Atonement icons.
